DRB-Hicom Bhd (DRBHCOM) aims to collaborate with government agencies to establish its automotive hub in Tanjung Malim as a next-gen vehicle production center for ASEAN. The company has signed MoUs with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) and the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) to enhance Malaysia's automotive industry through the Automotive High-Tech Valley (AHTV) project.
Gamuda Bhd (GAMUDA)'s Australian subsidiary, DT Infrastructure, has secured a A$625 million contract from Lightsource bp Renewable Energy Investments Ltd for the Goulburn River Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia, marking a significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) achievement.
TopVision Eye Specialist Bhd (TOPVISN) had a strong debut on the ACE Market, raising nearly RM18 million from its IPO, although it refrained from commenting on the potential impact of new regulations on private healthcare charges.
